To Be of the Soil
Many rituals and traditions of the Fahraean people involve the use of the abundant soil beneath their feet; from ritual markings drawn on bodies to the preparation of the dead, it is ubiquitous.
Though many now speak the same language as much of
Grara, they maintain a unique vocabulary that contains over seventeen unique words for different types of soil.
The Lifemother
Fahraeans have their own faith that revolves around a figure known as the
Lifemother. This faith has led to a special degree of reverence for women and a matriarchal order to society. It even led to the county of Fahraea being called she and her instead of it.
