Blade of Redistribution
Prospective tool of equalization.
I suggest a larger, more intimidating, form. Something displayed in the public square. It is my wish that it never be used and serve only as a deterrent to those who would continue to exploit the workers.
Shifting Form
This tool still only exists in the minds of the people creating it and has yet to take its final form. It could be as simple as an axe or it could become a complex mechanical device but it would have one purpose, to reduce inequality. The blade of redistribution is not a popular idea but that it is an idea at all signals a significant shift in the unrest within Burim. Should it come to be, it would alter the future of the Long City irrevocably - whether its creators come out on top or not.An Air of Inevitability
As year after year the economic - and by extension social - situation in Burim continues to worsen - from one perspective anyway - it seems to many in the True Citizens of Burim that the creation of a radical tool is becoming inevitable.Stub Article

Even by proponents of radical revolution are skeptical of the blade because once it exists, it can be used against anyone. As a tool, it has no code by which it abides, subject only to that of those who wield it. Once it is used, it may only retain the power it holds if it continues to be used and to go on without end is a frightening prospect for many."There is no weapon, and let us be clear, this is a weapon, that you will never have to use at least once."
