Bernard Van Gensinh
Bernard Van Gensinh was and probably always will be the most famous and powerful Gensinh. In his youth, he sold his sword hunting monsters, until one fine day he and his companions killed a couple of griffins, thus becoming somewhat famous in the region. The local lord, a human named Dante Lirumort spread his name and offered the hand of his daughter Briselda Gensinh to Bernard. After marrying the noble lady, he became lord of Ferelden and founded Gensinh House: one specialized in killing monsters and other nefarious creatures. Bernard became so powerful that eventually he hunted and killed the Dragon Smerious by himself.
