A man who lost his son first to the mob, then to when the son showed up again - to a company called MagiSecurity. The son was never heard from again.   Will not talk with Umeji Tatsuyaand Nakamura Hisako -- too scared. He's being watched.  
“I can’t help you. Go away, before you bring me any more trouble. Ears are everywhere.”
A gentleman in a zip up sweater painstakingly shuffles his walker to the entryway door. His blue ball cap covers most of his mop of white hair. Liver spots more than wrinkles show his age and past exposure to the sun. His scratchy voice is hard to hear.

The world of Liminal Chronicles brings in and builds on Japanese mythology and folklore. While this setting does not represent "actual Japan", the author does her best to respect and show her love for the Japanese culture in this "world". Departures from Folklore and Culture describes where the author has chosen to deviate from real world Japan to create Liminal Chronicles.
