Tyrlus, God of War, Tyranny and Strife

Brought to life in the Sundering of Asranos, crafted from their Rage and Strife, Tyrlus is the very embodiment of the heat of battle. Taking their place as their god of war, and holding onto the role with an iron fist, Tyrlus takes great power from every battle a mortal undertakes. The Priesthood of Tyrlus are trained to understand the nature of tyranny and strife. They learn to understand the battles a person may undergo; physically, emotionally or mentally. They are tasked with being tactical advisors, no matter what it may be for. When a priest of Tyrlus reaches the peak of their life, they often act as the religious aid to rulers. While they offer guidance in war, their prime role is to keep their ruler in check against becoming the tyrant they fear. There can only be one tyrant, and Tyrlus will not allow another to rise. Should this occur, they are granted the right to oppose the given leader, and do all that is within their power to prevent the rise of another tyrant – Even by force. In the twilight years of their service, a priest may take the highest rank(s) available in their church, a reward for long service and serve for ten years and no more. At the end of their service, if they have not died in their station, the priest will ritualistically take their life while proclaiming the phrase "Better to die a Man, then Live to become a Monster"

Tyrlus is often depicted as either a man in a suit of armour, bearing a blackened right hand, or a black dragon. Worshippers consider Fenganya to be an enemy of Tyrlus.

The Tyrlus Games – 33rd to 40th of Ichsios
Every four years, the people of Helathen gather in a per-designated location and put away old grudges in favor of competing against each other. On the first day, all the teams from the different city states come together and present themselves, lighting the greater Flame of Tyrlus. From the second day to the seventh day, they partake in various games from discus, running matches, full combat and more, each game designed to prove the best athletes and warriors in their city state. On the Eighth day, the teams gather once more to crown the city state team who won the most games, before taking the Flame of Tyrlus once more and securing it safely until the next Tyrlus Games.
