The Sporete Merchants Guild
Formed during the period of 1159 CT, under the express permission of the Narvarch of that time, the Sporete Merchants Guild was created to keep the balance between the existing merchants and tavern owners. The Guild helps keeps the prices for all shops in Sporete’s lands to keep fair pricings, give licenses to stall holders and arbitrate arguments between merchants.
Every member of the guild explicitly follows the Kanones Agoras, even if they don’t necessarily worship or give praise to Minide/Hermes.

History
Upon being formed in 1159, took many cues from the Arkadian Merchants Guild. The Guild would be run by a Chairman, voted in once every four years by all members of the Guild. The Arbiter and Recordkeeper cannot be existing Merchants, so are often retired merchants or hired in help from outside of the guild. This enabled there to be a fair and dispassionate keeping of the peace and records.
