no-contact order
A no-contact order is the rough equivalent of a restraining order. Due to the complexities of Licentia's legal status, restraining orders issued outside of their territory are technically not enforceable outside of them, hence the need to develop a parallel system.
The system developed in part because of Licentia's status as a refuge for infected. Infected who do not get along often have no other place to go, and the communal nature of infected means that they otherwise may be seeing a lot of each other.
No-contact orders are effectively public, as anyone can query a database of them, although it does not display who placed the order or if it's mutual. The database is used to prevent accidentally placing people with no-contact orders together in housing, classes, or other organized activities.
Breaking a no-contact order for a non-emergency purpose may result in expulsion from Licentia, as it can create an unsafe environment. It's usually handled on a case-by-case basis, though.
No-contact orders are distinct from someone who is not allowed to use communal housing.
