Wildflower season
If Levis can be divideed into seasons, the simplest of these divisions are "Dry, Wet, Wildflowers." While the smallest in duration of the 'seasons', it is the most striking, with plains of flowers flowing from lands usually lacking in saturation (colour and hydration both), and exploding in a way that encourages the most stoic artist into creative favour.
The season lands in the gap between the wet and the dry, a moment of breath as the world tries frantically to convert potential into the next generation - led boldly by the plants of Levis in a show of "have a look at these", that would make many a prude blush. Luckily for Levis, prudes are in short supply.
If the start of the wet season was the time for animals to mate off and attempt the horizontal tango, then the wildflower season is a time of births, of digging dens and stretching pouches for the young to learn to Be in the world before the moisture leaves and the risk of fire comes back full force. The twin suns rule here, usually full in the sky in a lover's dance, and many a story slips through the world in homage to these celestial lovers.
The most striking lands affected are in Solaris - most notably the fields around Weltstaat Castle which explode in dozens of colours, and make the court a drawcard tourist location during the season. Many an adventurous foliad trade their way towards the court just for the view - and the promise of a courtship both unexpected and secretly hoped for.
This season is a season of planting and tending for the Trolls, historically the horned bison coming to a stop to graze and birth, and the trolls have always found a need to assist with encouraging the bison to safety and prosperity. In Oceanus this is a season of long ocean journeys and deep ocean breezes, letting the sail out to full and embracing the endless expanse.
The demons have found this a season of redness and irritation, something within them finding allergies not in the pollen, but in the flush and overwhelm of emotions, calling the season the 'time of excess'. Many demons seek isolation in this time, the echoes of their neighbours loud and unpleasant.
Still, this is a time of growth and change before heat and dry takes the joy away, and in that society breathes.
From Infernus has come the Great Iron Stills, from which many products have been formed. One such product is a distilled banksia spirit named "Tsyphet."
Malted seeds are distilled with crushed banksia flowers and a spirit is made from the resultant liquor. The demons have hired several Gardeners to grow massive living casks to age the sweet but high alcohol spirit, with luxwood being the most common living cask.

Poor demons. I would love this season. I always love when the wildflower meadows are in full bloom.
