Tooth diadem
Resting atop the point of troll teeth and much later demon horns lie the tooth diadem. Molded from many colourful substances, these decorations carry the history of their wearer and callbacks to their ancestry.
The diadem are usually constructed from crushed and soaked shell or river reed, mixed into a concoction with a binding agent and sculpted around a mold. The diadem is then dried and into its surface is carved markings displaying the story of the specific troll's ancestors, with a hope that one day their descendants will do the same for them.
The tusk caps are either stained or painted, often a lustred red of the hue of firelight, though black also is common for recognition.
