Seaweed noodles
An Oceanus delicacy, seaweed noodles are a usually fine cut strip of seaweed or water reed, dusted in ground Dakurax bark and dried over several days.
Cooking with seaweed noodles can be done several ways. One way has them fried on a pan in oil and with savory fruit from one of the water plants, basil and thyme.
Another has them wrapping a fish stuffed with herbs, and pan baking them until the flesh begins to fall off the fish.
Seaweed noodles are generally stored in dried stacks, about 2 meals thick, in gum sealed greshire bags to protect against insect attacks. A touch of water will unseal the bags and allow a meal or two to be released.
