Rune-Enriched Magma

If the power source of Levis is the solar cell, and the power source of Tyr is electricity, then the power source of Infernus is the rune enriched magma. Being a mix of a semi-solid state and a magical inscription, most confuse the magic in the holding vessel; though only the flowing red and the angry rune are required for the magic and the power and the energy.
  Unlike the solar cells whose use feels more tightly bound to the magic of Levis, while the runes are magic - the things this substance powers and makes are much more technological. Often stored in green glass and copper bound casks, the runes inscribed on the copper bindings, in this state it is used akin to petroleum, though the flammable and explosion is self contained and the effects more immediate.
 

Magma as explosives

Like kerosene, R.E.M can be joined with a 'fuel source' to create explosives. Usually this is an iron core, the magic rusting through the iron as a fuse as the iron oxide and the R.E.M react together to create a mix of concussive force, heat and shrapnel. This is traditionally used in mine clearing, the iron easily pulled from the mine wall, reusable but all, while the clearing moves the rocks stone-mancy cannot clear.
