RedBrickRoad
22 Red Brick Road, or Red Brick Road for short, is the apartment building where the Second Focus of the exploration of the realms begin. That being the stories of David and Silas.
Within the complex exists the small strata apartment they fully own after moving in together, 6 months into their marriage.
Here with their cat, the couple explore the land of Tyr and the technology (and magic) within.
Purpose / Function
Residential apartment building of many tech workers in New Haven Tech District Park.
Design
Brick walls, a terracotta painted roof and grey concrete floors.
Sensory & Appearance
Brick walls covered in blankets and posters, lined with bookshelves and knick nacks, big beanbags pushed right into the corners and a low black coffee table in the middle of the main room. An open kitchen is directly connected and there's two bedrooms and a bathroom connected, the second bedroom up a set of stairs. The whole thing feels warm and breathing, a tiny bar heater from an age gone by nestled in the corner, and a large holo unit stretches one of the walls, with its setup box under the black coffee table. A fire exit attatches to the thing they call a balcony, with a drain pipe running straight through said balcony.
Denizens
Mrs Carroway, elderly resident and last survivor from the previous commuinity. She's batty as anything, with massive white hair and small rectangular spectacles, and a tattoo of a model down one saggy, wrinkly arm.
Alterations
Back stairwell is under construction after water damage caused rot to get into the wooden staircase.
The lobby has been refurnished with new carpet and a new public landline.
History
Originally a housing unit for a very bohemian community, before polyamory was legalised, XXY took over ownership after the area was gentrified with the construction of the New Haven Tech Park nearby, its workers encouraged to settle in the area.
