Nocturne Empire
Delve with us, beneath the seas. Pass gates of massive anenome, dormant in their slumber. Move through wild coral arches, and over spongey outcroppings to come across the sea floor belonging to the empire.
Those within the bosom of the empire believe that all that touches and us within and upon the water belongs to the empire. They are wrong, but it is from this misunderstanding that problems arise. The empire contains the three subtypes of Nocturne, though the empire does split itself into regions where each type of Nocturne is more abundant in the demographic. Despite the name, and the ideas of those from the surface, the Empire is not a government, the region more in common with the city states of central Levis. Instead the empire more represents a shared identity, a culture through which one can lense the world.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The empire is one of the few regions of Levis two have two unique dialects within their cultural borders.
The south eastern region closest to Solaris is mostly uttered in trills and clicks, the words so ultrasonic that the layer of incomprehension stops the recipient noting the shared roots to their language. The northwest close to Avani is more in foliad vocal range, though tongue clicking remains within speach patterns. Where on the nightbloom these sounds are uttered none can say for who would be brave enough to ask.

Art & Architecture
Artitecture within the empire settles more around the uses of corals, reeds and sponges. While grown buildings are a thing, community resting arches are often the only sign that an uncourted Nocturne collection is in the area.
Common Taboos
Do not ask a nightbloom its mouth.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Within the Empire, a priority is set on displays of pastel colours and open round shapes - whether that through natural body colouration or through the use of dyes and paints.
