Mhorzyn - competative tag
In the realms of Infernus exists a sport for the fast, and durable and the thrill seeker. Mhorzyn is, in essence, high voltage tag. With several divisions, this unisex sport allows imp, demon and brute alike.
There are three types of Mhorzyn - Traditional, Bare and Solo.
Persued can gain points for reaching designated zones, one point per zone. Each runner must fully be inside the zone for the point to count and a persuer cannot enter any zone.
A persuer gains 2 points for fully tapping the head or core of any pursued, or a single point for touching a limb. Either way, the persued is 'out'.
Out of bounds: If a player leaves the arranged playspace, this is an out of bounds, and is a taboo penalty for their team, though the Chase continues. Players and fans often count the number of times they have forced an opponent to commit this Taboo.
In zone: A persuer can be found to be 'in zone' if they step within the capture zones for the runner team. They may reach or pass their body into the zone, but they may not place their body upon the ground of the zone.
The reigning champ of the prime league is Sheghas the imp, with an average tag out rate of 46-3, and an out of bounds count of 51 across his ten seasons. He favours the solo league though rumors say he might enter the trials next season.

Taboos
Taboos are earnt for breaking the rules and are scored as negative points.Out of bounds: If a player leaves the arranged playspace, this is an out of bounds, and is a taboo penalty for their team, though the Chase continues. Zharus Vorn caused controversy when a swinging foot dive made contact with a runner on the far side of a capture zone after Zharus passed completely through the zone in the air. His team would have had to play another Chase and they would have had to swap out his teammate for injury.
Substitutions
At any time between chases, a team may swap out a member for one of the two extras. These swaps may only be done once per extra, and should a third swap be required, the team must act with a member down. The zones.
The simplest Mhorzyn court is a 10 by 10m court with a 50cm diametre centre capture zone and a 2m regtagle capture zone ob the opposite end. The court is filled with multiple levels of parkour points (usually rocks or hanging bars) with contenters starting on each corner.Bare
Bare Mhorzyn is often played on a 20m by 10m court, with no obstacles, but two central capture points as well as the end point. Thre central points are also 1 to 1.5m in diamtre depending on the host/venue.Solo
In this league it is one Round, 4 platers who act as both persuer and persued. Tagging only counts with the hand or forearm, and mutual tagging is allowed. The leagues
Several leagues exist between allied locations. But the biggest match occur in proxy 'campaigns' between warring factions. When hostilities cease, it is often seen that new leagues form or merge with old ones to produce a more complex 'sport'.Observance
The Mhorzyn Premier league hosts a three day ladder match. Only one team may compete from any settlement and their authorisation must be sealed in the blood of their Lord or Lady.
