Green Glass Coin
To most, the uniqueness comes from the irregular 'disc' of green glass, as it is shown to those with an interest. And while the demonic rune upon its topmost edge might be unusual, once you know its source then it just becomes part of the flavour. The trick comes when one is able to gently heat the coin, and the barely perceivable bumps on the coin mark it as a trade pass from Hublesstone, complete with year offered and the name of the holder. Welcome to the trust of the first true city of demons in Levis.
History
When Hublesstone was just a camp, bards and strangers and the eyes and ears of Solaris and Natare and even some say Vertus were in and around and over the land that was annexed to this demon populace, and the demons there were constantly on edge, as things went missing, or were damaged unexpectedly, or things were moved from one person's pack to another and things were said when accusations were denied.
The Lady, with counselling by the Lord Xylos, began to suspect that the silkier minds of Levis had decided to encourage the demons of the camp to return through the Oracle Grove portal back to Infernus but subterfuge. Being completely unwilling to go back, having fought her way here in the blood of her people, The Lady closed ranks, letting only those who had paid in their own blood passage into the camp. But this stifled resources - it was her blacksmiths and forgemasters who came up with the solution.
Originally planned to be stone or metal, wiser heads stated that stone and metal being taboo items within Levis meant that markling such items would put a target on the backs of people they were working towards becoming trusted allies with, and without allies the camp would never become the city the demons dreamed of. But glass was an unknown to the foliad and trolls of this realm.
