Traders' Guild

The Traders' Guild is one of the foremost tradesmen's guilds in all the world, and one of the few organisations still in existence that can trace its history back beyond the beginning of the New Era.

Public Agenda

The stated purpose of the Traders' Guild is to facilitate the flow of trade between places, particularly over long distances where considerable up front costs are incurred by those doing the trading. Over time, however, this original purpose has been expanded upon, and in the modern time the Traders' Guild has become a political and economic juggernaut whose agents have a hand in commercial enterprises of all sorts.

History

Originally, the Traders' Guild was known as the Emporion Guild and began the long story of its existence in the kingdom of Anidrios, where merchants naturally banded together to make journeys across the desert to reach their destinations.
