Mehndi
[Men-dee]
Definition:
1.) A form of a temporary artistic design drawn directly on the skin using various colors of paste used to stain the skin. Paste held within a paper cone are used for the delicate designs that are reminiscent of needle lace or tatted lace. Mehndi is used as apart of weddings and other celebrations in the Tūrpu Eḍāri region. Mehndi is a highly skilled art, well known through many parts of Lennador for it beauty and complexity.
Example usage:
1.) If properly taken care of mehndi can last a week or two.
2.) While a novice can have access to supplies, the artful skill of applying mehndi takes many harvests to master.
