The Hardest Worker
Like all his five elder siblings, he was crafted by his father, Ymerah. Like all his five elder siblings, he watched Ymerah craft his younger brother. Like all his siblings, he was crafted with a purpose. Upon his younger brother's completion, Ymerah instructed all seven of the Aeturan to craft for themselves a world to call their own. This is what they dd. He had not any inspiration of his own which he'd bring into reality. Instead, he would help all seven of his siblings with their aspects of their world. He helped his eldest brother, and his father craft a sphere of fire, and stone. He helped his next elder brother pull mountains from the crust of this sphere. He helped his next elder brother fill the crust with all manner of jewels, and metals. He helped his elder sister give light, and color to this new world. He helped his elder brother cover the world in all manner of wildlife, and greenery.
All this together made him the hardest working of all his siblings. He had contributed more to the creation of this world than half his siblings combined. The aid he provided to his siblings was instrumental to the world's completion. However, even as great, and vast as their world is, it was still incomplete, imperfect. In order to achieve this perfection, the world would need to grow, and flourish on its own. In order for this to happen, all seven of the Aeturan would need to isolate themselves from their world. This is what they did. They left their world for a short while, hoping to return to a perfect world. This however is not what they returned to. Rather, they came home to see a great imperfection.
He saw a writhing mass of lesser things covering, and infecting his world. His siblings named these lesser things, the Mortals. It was swiftly agreed upon among most of the Aeturan that their world must be cleansed of these mortals.
Magus of Indolence
The consensus was made, and most of the Aeturan had already planned their method of cleansing the mortals. Not him. Yes, his eldest brother crafted his Pride, then came Wrath, then came Greed, then Lust, and Gluttony. He'd already contributed more to his world than any of his siblings. He demanded a time of rest. He cared not for his world, as he saw it beyond repair, and simply not worth any further effort. He simply refused. Ironically, it was in fact his inaction that further corrupted his world. In refusing to aid his siblings, and choosing inaction instead, he created his sin. It is his commitment to his sin which sowed it unto his world. Just like all other sins before his, it caused great destruction, and corrupted his world.
Many of the mortals simply ceased all manner of productivity. They ceased learning, ceased exploring, ceased building. Many cities and civilizations fell to ruin. Fathers left their families, and fighters would let down their arms, and became vulnerable. Despite this great change in the Mortals, Sloth failed to notice, as he had already abandoned his world. Eventually, the father of the Aeturan, Ymerah would return to see the destruction Sloth and his siblings had caused. As he attempted to inquire as to why his children had done this, six of the seven Aeturan lashed out and attacked Ymerah. All six of them were banished to the next void of a realm. As Wrath was cast out, he grabbed Sloth, and dragged him into the next realm with him.
A New World
In this new void of a realm, the Aeturan Wrath and Sloth were first wrapped in brutal combat. Wrath enraged by Sloth's weakness and inaction, Sloth over Wrath dragging him into this realm against his will. The battle was short, as Wrath's strength outweighed that of Sloth by a hundred fold. Sloth was sent into a catatonic state, and was unable to contribute to the crafting of the New World, not that he would have. All six of his siblings would craft the new world without the aid of their brother Sloth. It is in the Catatonic state which Sloth would remain. Unable to dispose of him, his younger sibling, Envy would craft for him a throne which he could sit, and maybe one day, his consciousness would return, though his body is now incapable of function, and his power is drained.
