Child of Vastness
Among all seven of Ymerah's children, he was the most vast. This was not a harmful vastness, as it was accompanied by great physical, and mental capability. This mental capability manifested in a near unrivaled imagination. An imagination that was put to work long before his hands. As his father crafted his younger siblings, there were millions of ideas ripping through this vast being's vast mind. Only when his father completed the task of crafting his final three children could he put these ideas into practice.
Eventually, his father would do so, and would make his children's greater task known. Ymerah made it known that his children's purpose is to craft for themselves a world to call their own, and to reside in this world. He watched as his eldest brother helped his father craft a sphere of stone and fire which would serve as a blank canvas for those who came after. He watched his next eldest brother pull mountains from the crust of this new world. He watched his next eldest brother fill the crust and the mountains with all manner of gems, jewels, and metals that altered the world's physical properties.
He watched as his elder sister gave light and color and natural beauty to the crust of this new world. Now it was his turn. He would go beyond the crust of this world, though his aspects of this creation would take root in the crust which his elder siblings had crafted. He covered the crust of his world with all manner of greenery, and animal life. Now, his part of the task was complete, and he could watch as his two younger siblings finish crafting their world.
The Great Consumer
Once his younger siblings finished their tasks, it was the consensus of all seven of the Aeturan that they would leave their world for a short while to let it grown and flourish on its own. This is what they did. However, when they returned, they saw not the perfection of a world fully grown. They saw a writhing mass of lesser things. Not the animals which he had placed here to benefit the delicate balance which he had crafted. These lesser beings had no obvious purpose, and stole resources from the balance which he had crafted.
He, and his siblings confronted their father on this. Ymerah explained to his children that the purpose of the lesser beings is to show the Aeturan just how extraordinary their world is. This was not what he saw. All he saw was the destruction of the delicate balance which he had crafted. He watched his elder siblings' drastic, yet effective approach to correcting the flaw in their work. He watched his eldest brother craft his Pride, his next eldest brother craft his Wrath, then Greed, then Lust. Now, it is his turn.
He planted in the mortals, a desire to endlessly consume. This is after all, the only thing they did. Why not weaponize it? The mortals would continue to consume, and consume beyond any measure of satisfaction. This sin was named Gluttony, and this was the name he took for himself. As well as planting this new sin, Gluttony would plant disease, pestilence, and famine. He created lesser beasts to carry this pestilence, and cause this famine. He created draught, which would cause the spread of famine. Among all his siblings, Gluttony dealt the most damage to his world whist trying to perfect it. In creating his sin, he perverted his own form, and warped it into something dark. His physical form reflected that of his sin
Eventually, their father, Ymerah would become aware of the sin, and destruction that has all but engulfed his children's world. He saw the death, and the sin. He saw the new and dark forms his children had taken. He looked upon them with only sorrow. Before he could ask his children why they did this, all seven of them lashed out, and attacked him. All seven were banished from this realm.
A New World
All seven of the Aeturan were cast from their world, and into the next realm, into the next void. The six younger Aeturan were thrown into a rageful tantrum whist the eldest sat in contemplation. He told his younger siblings how this void was exactly like the void that made up the previous realm. As such, it can become a home for a new world. Many of the younger siblings were convinced, and one by one, they contributed to the efforts regarding the creation of a new world.
Like during the creation of the Old world, it was Pride that formed the crust of the new world. Wrath pulled mountains from this crust, Greed filled it with all manner of Gems, and metals. Lust added light, and color. And Gluttony covered the world in all manner of plant and animal life, creating a delicate balance. It was this balance, which he had dominion over in this world. He desired nothing short of perfection. However, in order for it to be perfect, it had to grow, and flourish on its own. Once again, the Aeturan left their world so it may do so, and once again, they returned to see it soiled by the same mortals which soiled the Old World. These mortals had made the new world their home, going so far as to give it a name: Eternity.
All seven of the Aeturan demanded their father tell them why this happened. Ymerah explained to all of them that the sin which they had sown on the Old World compromised its stability, and led to its collapse. Ymerah announced how he had also placed his hand on the mortals, making the direct interaction with the mortals impossible. The Aeturan, using their dominion over their world sealed their father off from their world, preventing his direct interaction with the mortals. However, Ymerah's dominion over the mortals as their creator still allowed him to communicate with them, to advise, and guide them, should they be willing to listen.
The Aeturan would plant external signs of their sin, would create temptations that would lead the mortals to defy Ymerah, and would decieve them into leaving Ymerah's hand. This would make them vulnerable to the Aeturan's influence. However, if the mortals reject this temptation, and submit themselves willingly to Ymerah, they become his servants, and become a member of his army.
Thus, the War of the Aeturan began. The mortals formed churches in Ymerah's name, and cults in the Aetuan's name. These mortals would fight this war, and their eternal fates would be decided.
