Personal Development Imperative

The Federacy Personal Development Imperative is one of its Founding Pricinples focusing on the responsibility of every person to develop both broad and focused areas of knowledge. In a Post Scarcity Economy, the most important resources to steward are Time and Minds.   Education in Federacy space is an incredible resource with children receving a broad education before they are 12 and a collegiate (Associate's degree) equivalent by the time they are age 16. By that time they have their First (their first speciality) determined and have started Focus training. Federacy citizens, importantly, are skilled in data storage and manipulation in order to deal with the massive stores of data available to them.   It's expected that every Federacy citizen spend significant time not only developing knowledge and skillsets but furthering them. Contributing to Expert Datasets is a fantastic way for people practicing advanced skill levels to gather Percs.   Expert level skill development allows a person to operate without assistive data sources, effectively being able to function "off-grid" - using their skillsets without being able to access a data source through ComSpace.
