Seven Star Voidpiercer

Upon entering this stance, you conjure a ranged projectile weapon of your design with a number of CP equal to your tier + your cultivation modifier. You must have enough free hands to wield your Voidpiercer. Your Voidpiercer comes with seven unique pieces of ammunition called stars, each with their own effect:

  • Star of Unerring Inevitability: As long as you can perceive your target within 10 ft. per tier, your attack always hits and inflicts at least 1 injury. You can still make an attack roll to determine any extra injuries and to see if your land a critical hit. Your attack ignores any miss chance, cover bonus to DV, and range increment penalty. All other bonuses and penalties to your attack roll apply.
  • Star of the Unrelenting Path: Make one attack roll. Your attack is made against the DV of each target in a 60 ft. line.
  • Star of the Showering Radiance: Make one attack roll. Your attack is made against the DV of each target in a 30 ft. cone.
  • Star of the Meteor's Impact: Target a point within 5 ft. per tier. When you fire your star at that point, it explodes, and you make one attack roll that is made against the DV of each target in a 15 ft. burst.
  • Star of the Comet's Trail: Select a number of targets within 5 ft. per tier of you equal to your tier + your cultivation modifier. Your star fires from your Voidpiercer, going from target to target in order of selection. Make one attack roll. The result is made against the DV of each target. The star continues its trail against your targets even if it misses.
  • Star of the Shattering Aether: When you successful hit your target, you can attempt to dispel a magical effect currently on them as if you cast the shatter sorcery art. Each successful degree grant's you a +5 bonus on your dispel check. You can choose if your attack also inflicts injuries as normal or not.
  • Star of Crossing the Void: When you fire this star, you teleport to a location within 10 ft. per tier from you without provoking. The target location must have enough space for you in order for this star's effect to succeed.
  • You can only fire one star per round. Expended stars are only replenished when all seven stars have been fired. If your critically fumble your attack roll, the star has no effect, but is still expended.

    While in this stance, you can conjure or dismiss your Voidpiercer as a free action. If your Voidpiercer leaves your hands, it is immediately dismissed, but you can re-conjure it as a free action on your turn.

    Refinements

    Empower (+1)

    Increase the effects of your stars by the following:

  • Star of Unerring Inevitability: gain a +2 bonus to your attack roll.
  • Star of the Unrelenting Path: either increase line's range by 10 ft. or increase line's width by 5 ft.
  • Star of the Showering Radiance: increase the cone's range by 5 ft.
  • Star of the Meteor's Impact: increase the burst's range by 5 ft or increase your range by an additional 5 ft./tier.
  • Star of the Comet's Trail: increase the number of targets by 1 or increase your range by an additional 5 ft./tier.
  • Star of the Shattering Aether: gain a +2 bonus to your dispel check.
  • Star of Crossing the Void: increase your range by 10 ft./tier.
