Retinue Followers

A retinue is a collection of followers, people who have chosen you as their leader. This means that they believe in your abilities, impressed by your exploits, and are generally willing to follow your commands in the belief that aligning themselves with you is the right cause. However, they are generally not willing to sacrifice their lives or those of their loved ones by following your orders.

Recruitment

To recruit a person as a follower, you need to increase their Attitude towards you to Helpful and their Trust towards you to at least Trustworthy (score of 16 see the Diplomacy skill. Once those requirements are met, you can attempt a Recruitment check. A Recruitment check is a Diplomacy check that takes one downtime day. The DC starts at 10, and is increased by the following circumstances:
