Delivery Methods

Creating a Poison

The rules to create a poison is primarily for the GM to create poisons for the setting, but the GM may allow players to create their own poison as well.

Each attribute a poison possesses increases its gp cost per dose.

1) Delivery Method

Select the method the poison is inflicted on the target. Except for the contact method, the first delivery method does not cost any gp, but each additional delivery method increases the cost by 10 gp.

Ingested: consumed by the target.

Inhaled: breathed in by the target.

Injury: delivered by a weapon that inflicts an injury on the target.

Contact: applied on the skin of the target, can also be delivery via injury or ingested method. This method increases the cost by 20 gp.

2) Onset

The poison's onset is the amount of time its effect applies to the target once it is inflicted.
