You conjure a weightless shield of force energy that grants you a shield bonus equal to your cultivation modifier This shield floats on its own in your square, so you do not have to wield it. The shield has no armor check penalty. You cannot shield bash with it.

You can conjure a escutcheon to protect a target as long as they are within close range (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 tiers).

Increase the shield's bonus by 4 or give it a legendary magic shield property.

Master Empowerment (+3)

Increase the shield's bonus by 3 or give it a master magic shield property.

Reflect (+6)

If you block the attack or effect with your eldritch escutcheon, you can choose to reflect it back to its origin, using the same attack roll result or DC.

Standard Empowerment (+1)

Increase the shield's bonus by 1 or give it a standard magic shield property.

Sudden Shield (+1)

You can cast this art as a reaction, but only in response to an attack or effect that would affect your target.
