Chapter 1: The Dread Kings Arrival

Ashe and Jackie - AA Meeting

Ashe and Jackie quickly became friends when their AA meeting was rudely interrupted by knights loyal to the new King.  

Kit and Rowen - The Castle

Kit, sensing an unease and danger in the city, patiently awaited his sisters return, outside of the castle.   After jumping though the portal, Rowen carefully navigated himself through the castle before being found by Fletch. Fletch gave him a way out and cryptically told Rowen that the artefact was still recharging and that there must be more information in Yabott and the Ancient Temple nearby (Tomb of the Dread King).   After escaping the castle, Rowen unwittingly bumps into Kit, they both seemed to have an instant bro-nection.  

Talon - The Rustic Scrollbag

Talon enters the bookstore he was sure would contain a means of contacting his friends in The Green Ravens. Instead he found a young elven lady who claims no recollection of the man Talon is looking for.   Talon heads back to the inn to find more answers.  

The Queen and Neena

The party all converge on one another as they bare witness to Neena, the Black Panther of Breena a known member of the Golden Hand, attacks and slaughters Queen Rosaline III.   After watching the Queen be killed in seemingly cold blood, the party make a joint effort to kill Neena in revenge for murdering their Queen.   The party realise they are all on the same side and agree to escape the city together.  

The Gatehouse

Upon arriving at the closest gatehouse to their location, they see Edwon Dorlacke, a Legion Commander from The Great War, attempt to impose loyalty on the fleeing citizens. A scarce few resist and flee back into the city, but those who do not flee succumb to the loyalty and kneel.   The party realise they must dispatch of Edwon Dorlacke and the rest of the guards in order to escape the city before they are trapped and loyalised.   A battle ensues where the party are able to get the upper hand on Edwon, killing him and his men before opening the gate and fleeing.  

The Tomb of the Dread King

Rowen recounts what Fletch told him and the party agree they may need to stick together in order to survive whatever was happening to Legalaia. Together they head to the Tomb of the Dread King, with hope that there is information which will bring clarity to the darkness of the day.
