Legacy

Legacy is an interstellar Universe populated by aliens that travel to other planets throughout the cosmos. However, these aliens are based off of mythological creatures from Earth. The reason aliens look like fantasy creatures is because thousands of years ago, aliens visited our planet, inspiring our fairytales. So all those stories of Elves, Werewolves, and Dragons, those were actually aliens paying us a visit. The same is true for magic which many of the aliens can use in an ancient art known as Elemency. When Humanity discovers interstellar travel. they also discover extra-terrestrial life, or Demihumans as sentient nonhumans are commonly called. And humans also become aware of the power of Elemency, leading to the creation of the Elemental Ministries based on the main four elements. Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.
