Hybrids
Hybrids are synthesized life forms created by crossing dna from different species. Some were created with slight mutations and abilities. Created by a mad man who had no limits to what he experimented on.
The hybrids would eventually rebel against him and the other galactic powers. Creating an empire overtime with their ability to create more of themselves in incubation chambers. They would create the New Eden empire as they set their sights on creating a paradise for the hybrids.

Anatomy
Their Anatomy can be drastically different from each other thanks to them being created by crossing dna and inflicting mutations through Zidsan radiation. Most are humanoid in form and carry attributes from known sentient races and some creatures found in nature. Their are even some who look like unsarians or othe races that have been altered with radiation.
