Military action

Archstrategos Anastasius Lascaris, military governor of the Vaali provinces in Maddur, enters into a series of treaties with the Madduri clans, enabling him to free up his legions to return to Vaalus in the hope of ending the civil war. He lands his forces near the city of Thassalos, and within the space of a year has broken the power of the Cataphracts and reunified much of Vaalus.
