River Bearith

The river Bearith is a large river located in northern Leanor. It originates in the mountains to the north-east of Leanor. From there, the nearest sea would be the Sea of Fire, but due to the barrier of the Dragon's Ridge, the river does not flow there but instead turns west. It flows though the country of Baitha and then passes through the Dark Forest and teh Valley of the Brothers into Urtheon, where it finally flows into the Western Sea.

Nearly every stream in northern Leanor feeds into the Bearith along its way, turning it into the mighty river that it is once it reaches western Urtheon. The river is the one of the most important trade routes in Leanor north of the Silver Mountains all the way to Baitha in the far north-east of the region.

Even though there is no connection to the river system of the Vadion in the south by water, the Bearith is still of the utmost importance for the urtheonian trade and economy. The river allows access both to the trade on the western sea with Eleonis and Aguilear and trade routes crossing south through the Dark Forest toward Lupear and Valeor.
