Japantown
Japantown is a neighborhood of light commercial properties, retail shops, and apartment complexes to the eastward, between the central City and it's eastern waterfront. The Japantown International District is a bustling hub for L.A’s Asian-American communities. Noodle houses, sushi spots, dim sum restaurants and karaoke bars mingle with gift shops and markets selling imported goods. Skyscrapers with neon lights cover the night sky of Japantown, and there are various cyberware shops. Overall, Japantown is one of L.A's less dangerous zones but letting your guard down is just an invitation for trouble.
Demographics
Japantown's population is generally all of Japanese descent however you can find some Chinese and Caucasian pedestrians about since Little China boarders the sector.
Guilds and Factions
Japantown is also home to the dangerous Bosozoku clan. They are a group of avid street racers and robbers who prey on traffic, both moving and stopped, and steal and pillage from their modified motorcycles. If you find yourself stopped at a light late at night you'd better lock your doors and get a weapon out because you'd be easy prey.
This city sector also has a noteworthy Silk Road presence and going out after dark can likely end up with you getting snatched by the many "Yoru no kurōra" or "Nightcrawlers" who pick off loiterers if they are unfortunate enough to get spotted. Japantown's prostitutes help the Nightcrawlers do their dirty work, often preying on the lonely men who just want to get a little action.
