Midland Frontier

South of the Shifting Jungle, along the southern coast of the Midlands' bay, lays a relatively stable and quiet plain. The land gently rolls as it moves inward, with tall grasslands meeting a thick forest that lays along a river flowing down out of the Horned Peaks. Unclaimed by any large population, it holds a tiny population of peoples seeking a steady and quiet life away from either of the major population centers on the continent. This frontier is sheltered from the worst dangers of Lasair by geography, protected from meddling of Mages by distance, and largely ignored by the Korth'an Conclave thanks to the long trek across the Southern Wastes. This has allowed this quiet coastline to slowly grow a sort of open port city, through which all manner of creatures and goods pass or decide to stay.
