Mercenaries of Lanmet

Fists of Sugaz

Home Base: The Shade at the Banded Snakes lands
Leader: Wordmaker Plan-seer
They are a mixed company of different Sugaz tribes that get together to be mercenaries to provide food to their people, over the normal raiding methods. They are a varied crew with a range of different weapons, making them poor soldiers but when left to their own plans they are very deadly.

Extra Hands

Home Base: Saltensan
Leader: Observant Dore
Their purpose is to provide other nations with a disposable frontline or workforce while sending profit back to the Bast Oligarchy.
They have access to crude gear, normally no armour and stone weapons. Those that survive manage to scavenge gear for themselves, anything metal is confiscated though.

Travelling Hope

Home Base: Ald Alamek
Leader: Gullimard the Strong
Similar to the Extra Hands who they pity, they also send resources back to their home, Dost Liberation Movement.   They have leather armour and hardened wood weapons purchased or donated by the Renyan Unitary while some rare members of the elite have metal weapons.   They are great ambush fighters and prefer using spears. they will most often be found helping with border skirmishes in the Renyan Unitary.

The Ceramic Knights

Home Base: Circle Keep
Leader: Driven Ezra Pearce
Having a force of Djinn and Montihume Ceramic Armour they are a fearsome force however they deal in favours and mainly peacekeeping missions - forcing people to work better together.   People know that they will not chase down those that flee, making people rout more often to avoid their deadly charges.

Lost Mercs

Home Base: Geddon, The Barge City
Leader: Bahal Sovereign-Lost
When a nation needs an engineering project completed they hire the Lost Engineering Mercs. They are a medium sized squad of engineers with a range of specialties.

Circle of Chains

A group of thrill seekers that try to imitate the ways of the Madcapped. They have membership around Lanmet with chapters in Ald Kaytan, Offering and Circle Keep. Some people find the practice offensive but people will still seek it to try and get a taste of the surprising power of the Madcapped or to learn more about their enemy. They are not officially part of any army structure but will be called upon in times of need by their respective countries.
