Creation of Elf and Human

The elves were among the core races at creation at the beginning of time. Human were another core race. Gold Elves were the only elves in the universe, they are the purist of elven kind. The sub races of elf appeared later. Known as the “the children” they were created purely to inhabit the world of Nehwon. The creators known as “Old ones” had done this before, laying the seed of life on a planet and leave for a millennium or two, later to return and check on their creation. They left portals to the multiverse. They left guardians, protectors of the way. Nehwon was but a steppingstone from one world to the next. The elves were a core race that would help the old ones achieve their end goal, whatever that may be. Melkor, who was an old one, set to the task of creating a race that would rule overall. Melkors, rival, a being known as Salan, also an old one felt Melkor was short sited on his choice of race. Salan decided to compete with Melkor, he created humans. It is not known if there were a ruling council over the two competing old ones. Melkor is seen as an elf to the elves and Salan is seen as a human. Which neither were, but that is how the groups see their deities.
