Dia'vasi

Once the seat of a grand Elven Empire, Dia'vasi was known until recently as the City of Guilds and the center of modern advancement. People traveled from all across the globe seeking after the city's promise of progress. Some came to join the guilds, selling their skills to the highest bidder or to make a name for themselves. Others wanted a better life and Dia'vasi provided endless jobs and opportunities. business and trade thrived under the rule of the Grand Dutchy which worked hard to create a healthy economy.   For hundreds of years Dia'vasi was the envy of the rest of the world. It's white walls signified safety and a hope for a brighter future. Now it is only a dark reminder of the fate the rest of the world will soon face. In 1444 of the Last Era the United Order under the direction of Atrius took control of the city and using three of the four Umbra opened Dagon's prison hoping to return him to the Mortal realm. They were unsuccessful, but the act caused countless Void gates to open and shatter the protections kept between planes. As such Dia'vasi is now the center of a twisted scar where creatures from the Void and the Shadowfell can pass into reality.
