Order of the Violet Vision
The Order of the Violet Vision is one of the nine sub-orders of the Theurgic Order of Mages.
The Violet Vision is associated with the Sephira of Beauty and Balance, and is dedicated to preserving balance and peace. To do this, Violet Mages are often incredible negotiators and mediators. Violet Mages are liberal with their use of magic to aid in maintaining the status quo, but they are also perfectly aware of the personal costs this entails.
Violet Mages are generally thought of as pleasant and charismatic, and always seem to be involved in someone else's business. As such, they can be quite popular amongst other mages. They are always ready to lend a helping hand, a sympathetic ear, or a shoulder to cry on. Violet Mages are also the most interested in their appearance out of the orders, making them romantically popular as well.
Despite how favorably Violet Mages are seen, especially by new mages, they are not benevolent or altruistic in nature. Violet Mages are first and foremost concerned with maintaining a peaceful environment and enforcing the status quo. This goal comes before personal relationships, the feelings of others, truth and justice, or any other values that other mages might use to make decisions. Ultimately, Violet Mages easily invade the privacy of others and are willing to betray even those they are close to to maintain what they perceive as proper balance.
