Order of the Ocher Embers
The Order of the Ochre Embers is one of the nine sub-orders of the Theurgic Order of Mages.
The Ochre Embers is associated with the Sephira of Understanding and Method, and is dedicated to discovering and preserving knowledge. To do this, Ochre Mages are often found in academic positions. Ochre Mages are highly invested in the pursuit of magical and non-magical knowledge.
Ochre Mages are generally thought of as curious and obsessive, wholly consumed by their individual interests and specialties. Ochre Mages are known to associated amongst themselves more than with other mages, but can get along quite well with Amber Mages.
Ochre Mages are often overlooked by other mages as they are rarely interested in the politics of the Theurgic Order and remain isolated from the goings-on of the rest of the world. When looking for a expert on a particular niche subject however, everyone knows to seek out an Ochre Mage.
