The Bajamesa
The Bajamesa was a Volador trade ship that maintained a persistent presence in the Long Rim starting around the early 50th century. The Bajamesa travelled between stations with characteristically little forewarning, and interfaced with its destination by way of shuttle flights to and from the station. Although it was a welcome sight for most stations in the Rim, the Bajamesa still traveled with an escort of Sparri mercenaries equipped with Atlas suits, who also acted as translators and envoys for the Voladores onboard, who rarely left the vessel.
The Bajamesa was a large vessel, especially by the standards of the Long Rim, measuring half a kilometer in length and just under twice that length in width. Its single-wing frame gave it an easily-recognizable silhouette to the Rim's other inhabitants.
