Western Elves' Failed Siege of Kala

The failed siege (or voyage) of Kala as a result of conflict with the Ocean Pride.

While Levrin saw Brille as an embarrassment, he foolishly hoped that Kala was an easier target. Regardless of what the outcome may have been, it is impossible to know as they never reached Kala in the first place. They came into contact with the Ocean Pride, which was still brimming with fire magics. While the magic of the waning rocks and fire was likely a spectacle to behold, very little was written down of the event as the pirates were fairly illiterate.   All of the coming forces failed, never expecting such a horrible display on the oceans. They truly could do nothing to avoid it. There were few survivors, all of which were sold to Kala by the Ocean Pride and questioned. This would help the government of Kala learn about the intention of the Elves to investigate Old Udundst. The information was given to the officials of Brille as good faith for an alliance. However, the leader of the nation at the time (Maut Tira) ignored the information entirely and rejected any attempts for an alliance. Rather, he would make a pact with the Ocean Pride to linger around their waters and destroy an Elves that passed. The spoils would be split and they would be given diplomatic immunity.
