Rineilir (reen-ay-leer)
Rineilir is the god of beauty and shimmering stones. So overtaken by the astounding beauty of gemstones, he replaced his eyes with emeralds that are said to reflect sunlight as a lighthouse shines. His body is embroidered by the gemstones of the lands he arose from at creation and he is said to guide the dwarves with the most dedication to beauty for the sake of beauty, rather than benefits therein.
Rineilir has been a point of contention for the The Augury. The Augury decreases trade tariffs on shipments of religious significance, but Dwarves have use Rineilir as a loophole to decrease tariffs on valuable gemstones on several occasions. Due to this, the Augury officially banned the worship of Rineilir after the Silence (though it is suspected that the augurs did not make this decree themselves). This is not a problem for the Dwarves of Gilir, who are not part of the Augury as the government did not want to resolve the enormous raider presence in the area.
