Chal Churdour (Chall Chore-dower)

Chal Churdour is a devil of hysteria, paranoia, and disease. His domain makes him an affront to Fei Invaru, who sees him as a warped insult to nature. His first acts are linked back to the Strand-Blood cult, which received messages from the devil while exiled in Jurejun. His prophecy is now seen as a deception to bring humans into Mot D'nir, where disease ran rampant and fear could be instilled within the population that traveled there.   The populace is Chal's greatest weapon and he always lurks for moments when control is lost, but hysteria and paranoia were not always within his domain. It is said that it was not until his promotion to Inutherin that he gained control over hysteria and paranoia.   

In Scripture

  The story of his promotion shows Milin Orphi asking him to claim a new domain for the Ithitar, in which Chal Churdour would bring a plague to fall down upon a realm known as Terithal, corrupting the blood of a portion of its sapient population and poisoning their figures. The disease drove conflict among the people and forced a divide in their civilization, resulting in the sickly and diseased trekking to build their own utopia, away from their oppressors.    Milin Orphi, surprised by this conclusion and angered by its occurrence, tried to show Chal Churdour what he had truly wanted. He brought depravity upon the land, planting the seeds of paranoia between the kingdoms. When the time was right, he brought the populations into hysterics and chaos, resulting in a war that saw both populations fall. With the few that remained, Milin Orphi demanded that Chal "Do it properly" before forcing him to live among the population during its regrowth.   Chal, stripped of his cosmic proclivity to disease, lived throughout the centuries of the kingdom's reconstruction. Eventually settling into the position of lord over a notable territory, he used his influence to spark a war once more, leading to the fall of both kingdoms. Impressed, Milin Orphi crowned him as Inutherin and gifted him with the domain of hysteria and depravity. Further, he got to watch over the realm he had brought to its knees for the eternity of its existence.   In the present day, he is known to pull strings wherever miscommunication, fear, or anger causes hysteria and death, as well as wherever disease ravages human populations. Few claim to have glimpsed into Chal's realm, but reports say that he has renamed it to "Bedlam."
