The Beast
Summary
The Beast, it is said, is the first Demon and first incarnation of a sinner's corrupted soul. Created by The Tower, The Beast's coming is said to herald untold destruction and suffering.
Spread
Those who have studied The Twenty-Two would likely know of The Beast. It is a well known religeous symbol for those who explicitely worhsip The Tower and a warning for those who wish to avoid calamitous events unfolding in the name of blind devotion.
In Art
Archeologists have found cave paintings, sculptures and carvings depicting what they believe to be The Beast. No two depictions are identical, though they all share a common trait, a monster that bears two faces on one head, the corner of both mouths meeting at it's centre.
All artistic interpretations of The Beast are pictured near a tall tower, some appear with a dark, child-like figure that's horribly twisted and deformed. Scholars agree that the towering structure depicts The Sicteenth, though they commonly argue about the meaning of the child. Whether this refers to an offering made to summon The Beast or a Vessel for them to wander the mortal realm in.
