LA by Night: Kingmaker

The world is in tatters. Some places are stable, but others, it is as variable as wind it seems now.   But along the Pacific Coast, LA has become a haven once again.   From the deserts, from the east, to the north, and internally, LA is rebuilding after years of chaos ruling the city. You are very young to this world. Where magic was not really seen outside of spiritualists, the odd, and movies. But apparently, it is real. Very real. With very dangerous consequences.   New York burned. The whole state, then the city itself has been a bremuda triangle of unnatural behaviors. The event is known as the Shattering, in which the world we knew before shattered and a veil of ignorance dropped. We were exposed to know that myths may just be real. Rumor is it a witch caused it, and all the effects that have come after: Lake Michigan is a block of ice, Texas is a jungle, and Hokkaido has disappeared off the map.   But in some places like LA, stability still flourishes. May have fled here to this sanctum, and so have you for your own reasons. You're about to witness the rebirth of a city for Kindred society: where will you stand in it?
