Defences
The Village has very little when it comes to defence. Two Soldiers are stationed here from the Poroton Barracks to keep an eye on things but other than that there isn't much in ways of defence. The Farmer's Waterway(a canal built to irrigate the hulled wheat fields) has inadvertently made a defencive barrier incase any outside force tries to attack the village.
Industry & Trade
Exports
55% Hulled Wheat Flour
The main export of Nvi'kre is it's hulled wheat flour. This is a major source of food throughout the Arnstan. The flour is exported to the nearby towns of Poroton and Porosest, sometimes they will go south to the town of Trembla if there is enough of a harvest.15% Wooden Materials
The local Lumberjack and Millworker, Logan Ski, provides the villages exports of lumber. This can be in the form of planks or logs depending how many logs he can saw at his sawmill. Logan will sell his lumber at the city of Dandenmouth, as Logan would't be able to sell as much lumber in the nearby towns.10% Wool
Another export of the Nvi'kre is Sheep's Wool. during the summer months, the shepherds will shave their sheep to gather all of the wool, they will then sell it in the Porosest market for a decent price during market season.10% Cow's Milk
Cow's milk is another export which is a major source of sustenance in the area of Arnstan. The locals will leave the milk to ferment to make Gersho which is popular among native Tyrusians.5% Cattle and Sheep
Every 2-3 years or so the Village will choose certain members of their herds to take to the animal market of Arntan, they will then sell them to other herders where they can then buy rare goods which they wouldn't normally be able to get.5% Meat(Beef, Lamb and Mutton)
Occasionally the herders will kill some of the members of their herds for meat. They will then either sell this meat on the local market or go to the butchers in Poroton to sell their meat.Imports
Salt
Salt is important for the village as it preserves food which can then be stored inside the store room of the granary. They will usually preserve any wild game they kill. It is also used for cooking certain meals.Building Materials
Various building materials are needed for repairs and constructing new buildings and creating various items. The only materials they won't import due to local availability is granite and various stone materials, wood and cordage. Some of the main materials they will import are metals such as iron.Tools
Various tools are needed for the various professions for the villagers. These maybe axes, saws, plows, grinders, wheel barrels.Eskian Wax
Eskian Wax is used by the village to light up the square and some of the streets. This is a rare commodity that is in little supply in the village.Infrastructure
The Infrastructure of the Village is quite basic compared to standards of that in towns, but still bears the hallmarks of the Ashgarians. This includes Windmills, an invention brought over by the empire. Due to the Height of the land windmills are very popular in these province. The windmills helped the village gain more wealth through increasing the amount of grain they could refine and export to the towns of Poroton and now Porosest. Through this they have now built a waterway to help irrigate the farms to the north of the village, which saves time having to get water from the lake at the centre of the town. The road has also been improved by changing the dirt roads to gravel roads with granite slabs for bridges over the waterways.
Guilds and Factions
The Guilda Histor has their Upper Dandelion Branch based in this village.
History
The Old Porians have said to set up here to graze her herds of cattle and sheep on the lush grass fields. Due to the nearby Stream and small lake plus the once great oak forest, it was a great place to settle. They were believed to have come down from the Hills to the east due to the climate getting colder, and so needed greener pastures and warmer weather. The Nvi Area seemed to fit the bill.
Architecture
The newest buildings, such as the Guilda Histor, the Inn, Shops and the Mills are all of standard Tyrusian architecture. However some old buildings still remain of the Porian Variety.
Geography
From the Viewpoint of the Nvi Mounds
North
North of the Town Lies the great Ashgarian Windmills. these tower above all other objects in the nearby vicinity. The Mills seem is to have a heavy feel about them. Beyond these mills are the vast fields where the Oxen graze. There is also vast fields of wheat. Among these fields are rolling hills and small woodlands that are as old as the landscape they are on.East
Looking eastward will give the view of the village below. Bustling with activity of the few people who live and work here, the blue, green river called Kre flows into the lake at the centre of the village. The Eastern Animal Pens can be seen just past the eastern most buildings of the village. Between these pens and the Woods Olde is the ruins of the Old Porian Settlement. The Woods Olde has an ancient, errie look about them. It almost seems like the area is slightly darker than the farmland surrounding the woodland. Just about visable is the farmer's waterway's eastern flow which is flowing northward towards the Windmills. In sight beyond the woods are more wheat fields. However among these fields there is a row of stones leading into a series of the rolling hills known as the ghost hills. In these Ghost hills lay what the locals call the Jvi Stones, a stone circle said to guard an entrance to an underground cavern. It is said that many a bad thing lays in this carvern, and if disturbed, the village will fall prey to many a foul creature...South
Below the Hills are more Animal Pens, but beyond here is the many Oak Trees which Logan Ski takes charge of in managing. Beyond this woodland is the southern section of the Farmers Waterway, and beyond that is open fields with a few scattered oaks. Byeond these fields is the Lower Peka Hilllands. These Hills are the start of the Peka Hillands where the Kre Stream has it's source. Beyond these hills is the Peka Valley. There is a lengend that says that Ghasts of long dead people buried among the hills scream out in pain and feed upon the fear of those unlucky enough to be there during the night. These screams can be heard from the village.West
West of the mound there is more animal pens, and beyond, by the Oak woodland is Logan's Sawmill named Fine Oaks. There is small dirt path that leads from Fine Oaks north towards the main path. Just beyond the path is the Farmers Waterway leading north towards the various Farms. Past the Waterway just about directing across from the Sawmill is the Lko Mounds. It is said that Lko was a a terrible necromancer who would do alsorts of malsious things to the dead of the Nvi, so a band of heroes named the Akavira Credence bound him to the site of the Lko mounds. The surrounding lands are known as the Sheep's land where many a sheep roam around. The main road continues west towards Fal'ere from the Sheep's land, about half a league north of the Lko mounds.Natural Resources
