Tilesh, Serpent of Vice
In times when I am here, gaze upon the carnage I bring. In times when I am gone, fear, for I will return.

The Qing-Ti God
Tilesh is the yuan-ti serpent god of blood, debauchery, and cunning. Within the universe of Vrinomir, he is one among the Three Serpents, Shui and Sirakya being the other two. Together they are three beings but one mind, as they have continually existed throughout time, flowing with the natural path of mortality and taking turns ruling over each other based on the state of the realms. In times of greatness and goodness, Shui rules. In times of uncertainty and descent, Sirakya rules. And in times of evil and war, Tilesh rules.
During the Cosmic War, the three each formed their own kind, using them to help manipulate mortals and guarantee their own rule. They were known as the Yuan-Ti. Of Shui were the Xiao-Ti, of Sirakya the Ao-Ti, and of Tilesh were the Qing-Ti.
Tilesh represents a land's dark age, where its people suffer in utter turmoil through apathy, conflict, plague and any type of evil. He is the total ruler over the other serpents in lands that not only cause this but openly promote it, until the day it is reconciled and Shui takes over. When it eventually leaves Shui's pious comfort and falls into the motions of Sirakya, mortal fate will spiral that people back into Tilesh's rule, and he will rule again.
Dwelling
Tilesh rules with Shui and Sirakya within the Tower of Scales in the Veil, a divine place within the Yuan-Ti lore. Destitute and corrupt souls in the veil are taken by Tilesh, where they are remade into decadent evil serpent spirits who spread his terror.Domains
Tilesh represents the following domains: Blood. There is no purer time of dissent than blood on the ground and pain in others. Live sacrifices are sadistic and celebratory rituals in cults that worship Tilesh. Death. Tilesh relishes in the sight of lives crumbling and being shattered into as many pieces as possible. Cultists reflect this addiction in cunningly causing as much terror as they can.Alignment
Tilesh represents the following alignments: Neutral. Tilesh isn't mindless or careless. His tenets, still evil, are patient, secretive, manipulative, and unexpected. He holds himself to no law, only opportunity and instinct. Evil. Tilesh works to break down kingdoms and shatter people's hearts, and keep them so for as long as can be to sustain his rule.Symbol
The common holy symbol used to represent Tilesh is a Chui medallion, a circular object depicting a white, grey, and black area. The black segment is pointed upward when honoring Tilesh.None live perfect lives. No, not one. So ask yourself: if you do not possess the ability to live such a life and instead do evil, why continue playing the hypocrite and not give in?
