Qet, the All-Knowing
Knowledge, attainable. Infinity, an infant wrapped up deep inside the womb of the fair maiden, whose name is Knowledge.
~ Qet, the All-Knowing ~
Unravel
Knowledge. An aspect sought after by all sentient beings, including its most powerful and mysterious entity. A bringer of knowledge and intelligence, but also a herald of madness, insanity, and decay.
Qet, the All-Knowing is often labeled as all these things.
No records anywhere in history speak of how Qet may have come into existence. Many claim he has always been and always will be. Many call him a god whose, "tattered clothes must unravel all ends of Brinomir." Many consider him a deity of the occult. Whether they mean that in a cautionary or inspiring way does not take away from the fact Qet has always been a being shrouded in mystery.
Cultist belief says his following began on the astral plane of Shiq'Gith in the earliest years of Brinomir. The god was willing to stop at nothing to attain all the knowledge it could ever find. But, as it was not omnipresent, its limitation to one place at one time was unacceptable.
And, as history would have it, future cults revolving around Qet would seek the same thing, no matter how horrifyingly maddening it would be. Cults devoted to Qet are often fixated on experiencing the same thing he has. The only difference is that what is written about Qet may be enough to drive any reader completely mad with devotion.
As a result, followers of him are... less than friendly, and usually have to hide their true identity. Cults devoted to Qet are also typically associated with one of his lesser beings mythology dictates he once created, be it a beholder, an illithid, or something else entirely.
Legend says it sprang forth creatures and aberrations from its very essence, taking forms and shapes in the likeness of Qet, tasked with scouring the universe and learning all they could, so that the All-Knowing would grab onto that knowledge as well.
These creatures hungered for the knowledge stored deep inside mortals, and they wished to take it all for themselves. Legend calls them Illithids.
From his tattered robes, Qet unleashed these beings upon Brinomir to learn and discover all that could be known.
The Sign of Qet
The symbol directly associated with Qet, more specifically with one's devotion to Qet is a twisted version of the arcane glyph connected to divination magic. It is often made in the form of a hand-sized, metallic sign which are often kept in secret and only showed to other cultists when attempting to prove their loyalty. There are many tomes that tell of Qet, the All-Knowing. Those children's tales mean nothing to the one book that no mortal should ever read. It is scripture to his cults for its detail is otherworldly. The Tome of Qet must never be read by anyone.

Divine Domains
Devoted followers of Qet are obsessed with knowledge and crave every opportunity they can get to discover more, often through communion with the All-Knowing himself. Followers often carry on his domain to insane, maddening degrees. If you follow his ways, you believe every question has an answer, every equation has a solution, and you are addicted to finding out what that answer may be. Because of this, Qet shares a connection with two domains:
Knowledge, and arcana.
The arcana domain represents more than just magic and how best to wield it. It represents the deepest roots of it all in understanding where it all comes from and where it all goes.
The knowledge domain represents lore, wisdom, and intelligence in many or all aspects of life. It is the history of something that one learns, the philosophical metaphors someone unpacks, and even the physical memories that are made.

Divine Form
If someone is unlucky enough to gaze upon the physical manifestation of Qet, the All-Knowing, the chances they are not driven mad in that very moment are extremely low.
No man has ever looked upon Qet and been able to utter a coherent phrase ever again. And those who do claim to have seen him are cast down as liars, for no man can look upon him and feel no change.
But, texts and tomes depict Qet as a being whose height rises far above the clouds. He is clothed in tattered yellow robes and wears a face that is wrapped in cloths and different animal skins. No art of Qet has ever shown the features of his face, because none can even begin to comprehend the features of a face meant to drive mortals insane.
Some might say that the greatest knowledge of all would be seeing what Qet's face truly looks like.~ Duvra
