The Sapient Species Section contains articles about animals and plants that have the characteristics of sapient or humanoid species. In the parlance of Dungeons and Dragons, these are the races and sub-races that can be found in the source material or homebrew. Sapient creatures may contain characteristics such as reasoning, societal formation, language formation and usage among others.
