The Banished Lands

The Oni line

Since before recorded history, the Oni lands have been ruled by a single line of Oni, having said to have originated from Kagutsuchi himself. This line is often refereed to as the Line of Enerabba. Enerabba was the Oni lord that lead the first rebellion against the modern human government. His leadership is said to have been the spark that dove the Oni to start the great war.

The Population

The only who live in this desolate ashen desert are Oni, but not by choice. The Oni were forced onto this land, and while they may leave they cannot have a sanctified government on the main land, or they would risk starting a second great war.

The Government

Not much is known about the modern government of the Oni, as none want to go to the banished lands and those who do never come back. In history the Oni were known for their lack of government, and didn't see themselves as one people's until humans came and forced all of them to the Banished lands.

The Military

Technically the Oni are forbidden from ever forming a army again, but with the lack of real watch many believe that they must be building or currently have a military force. in past decades the Oni were known for their fierce fighting spirit as well as their martial prowess, leading us to again believe that they must have some form of militia.

Commerce

The Oni aren't known for much other than their fighting spirit and therefor have a hard time finding commerce with any nation except for sending out mercenaries. In addition Oni Never have the opportunity to trade as any that see a boat come or go presume it as a threat and capture it immediately.

Organizations/Religions

There are no known organizations within the banished lands. presumably all Oni worship the God Kagutsuchi. In all creation myths Kagutsuchi is said to have created both Fire and the Oni from it.
