Haoshen
The Sato clan
One of the oldest clans in all of Kuhaku, the Sato family is known for being proud and stubborn. For the longest time the Sato family were the richest in the realm (besides the shogun) due to the Steel factory's being an essential part of Kuhaku's economy, but recently they have fallen on hard times. Many credit this to the end of wars, and rise of technology. Since the end of the great war it hasn't been as necessary to keep the steel mills working as their is no longer a need for steel. Recently the family has been blaming the shogun for their down fall, as they say he is using lesser materials, like straw and wood to create the new infrastructure in the realm.
The Population
As the city's economy crashed, all of the wealthy families left leaving only the poor to stay. This is why, the human and sylvan populations are almost non existent within Haoshen, coming in at only 10% of the population combined. Otherwise the city is mostly populated by Dwarves, Lycan folk (half animal-people), and goblinkin.
The Government
The government within the city is almost non-existent; crime runs rampant throughout the city streets, and homelessness and drugs are out of control. While the Sato claims they have everything under control, they clearly don't and sooner or later the city will inevitably destroy itself.
The Military
Just like the rest of this city, the once great military of Haoshen is crumbling. Once upon a time Haoshen was at the peak of military technology, building trebuchets cannons and such, but in modern times these have become ordinary objects, and the world has moved on to new and exciting technologies.
Commerce
The opposite of Tianziu, Haoshen has the least fruitful economy in all of Kuhaku. Since the end of the last great war, the economy of Haoshen has been in a slow plunge. Now, the economy is nonexistent and many believe the city will literally disappear is it doesn't find a way to start up again.
Organizations/Religions
Once the city worshiped the Itachi vigorously, holding parades and ceremony's in his name. Now, the city worships no God believing that the Gods have turned their back on their city. Many believe that the thieves' guild runs out of the city, others believe that the city is to fragile and poor to even host their guild.
