The dune Falcon

The Dune Falcon, Pride of the Western Winds Among the sea lanes and desert ports of the west, The Dune Falcon cuts a silhouette both elegant and iconic. Sleek as a blade and just as fast, this red-sailed caravel has earned a reputation for outpacing pirates, outrunning storms, and delivering goods before rival captains have even weighed anchor.   But The Dune Falcon isn’t just another trade ship. It’s a labor of love, a moving monument built on legacy, grit, and the stubborn heart of one dwarf—Garrik Dorn, adventurer turned trader, and the Falcon’s proud owner and captain.

Faster Than It Should Be

By all accounts, the Falcon shouldn’t be as quick as it is. It’s small for a trade vessel, closer to a coastal runner than a cargo hauler. But the moment its crimson square sails catch the wind—trimmed in gold and shining like a noble’s banner—the ship comes alive. Sailors swear it skips across waves like a stone, defying wind and current alike.   Some say there’s magic stitched into those sails. Others whisper that Garrik made a deal with a sea spirit. Garrik himself just grins and says, “She moves fast because she knows I hate being late.”   Whatever the truth, The Dune Falcon is a thing of marvel—its ornately carved hull a testament to dwarven craftsmanship, all smooth lines and sturdy curves. Golden inlays of hammer and flame decorate the sides, a quiet nod to the forge-born blood in Garrik’s veins.

Built on Legacy

The Falcon is more than Garrik’s livelihood. It’s his tribute.   Years ago, when Garrik was just a beardless lad growing up west of Bor Todir, his family scraped by after his father—once a fearsome bounty hunter—was forced to retire due to a grievous injury. With coin running dry and pride on the line, Garrik’s parents did what dwarves do best: they endured. They bought a battered old vessel and started trading whatever they could, just to keep their kin fed and warm.   The Dune Falcon carries that story in every timber. Garrik poured himself into the ship not to build a fortune, but to honor the two dwarves who showed him what true grit looked like. It’s not just a ship—it’s the legacy of his family, turned bow-first into the future.

More Than a Merchant

Though he’s made his name ferrying rare goods and stranger passengers, Garrik Dorn hasn’t quite shaken off his adventuring past. The Falcon has seen more than one skirmish, more than one secret port, and more than a few cargoes with no manifest.   Some say the captain gets itchy when the sea’s too calm or the profits too easy. And when that happens, you might just find The Dune Falcon sailing off-course—toward trouble, treasure, or both.
