Yellowjackets

Some members of the famous Armageddon 141st Steel Legion, when faced with complete annihilation at the battle for hive city of Palonious, decided to flee and desert from the siege. After the battle, deserters could never return back to into the fold of the Imperium, otherwise they would be all executed on the spot. Instead they looted, raided and pillaged smaller settlements and in time grew to a much larger warband. Some of the high ranked members turned their focus to the chaos, and not soon after, the warband caught notice from a small covert war party of Iron Warriors. Now it serves again under the new masters on their secret mission.
